"Where better to care for the soul than in the details of our daily lives?....The soul has an absolute, unforgiving need for regular excursions into enchantment. It requires them like the body needs food and the mind needs thought... An enchanted world is one that speaks to the soul, to the mysterious depths of the heart and imagination where we find value, love and union with the world around us. As mystics of many religions have taught, that sense of rapturous union can give a sense of fulfillment that makes life purposeful and vibrant." ~ Thomas Moore.

Soft White Quiet Places of the Hearth

I walked in to the house from the back yard gardens....gardens which are home for me, a living green extension of the protected inner world of shelter we all need from weather, creature and the din of a technocratic paradigm....
.....and the Light was a gentle visitor who graced me with Her numinosity

....Her Beauty on White......

White and more white.......is so necessary in our current world.....such a haven it offers........

Entering the White, was a vision for me, a feeling, of having arrived.

Sighhhhh.

though my eyes and being can see the Light, the camera didn't quite pick it up so I increased the brightness....

then I opened the door and closed the white sheer netting to let in more Light.....

on the floor lay my bedroom wall unit now standing in my bedroom.....amazing what comes out of boxes. : - )

the console still had Easter treats and bunnies....for the first time ever I got bunnies....

I always want to run back to this space when I leave it......always it enshrouds me with its serenity

 loving the Lady of Light....

    1. oh thank you so much for saying so.....it appears to be sooo serene, yet I suffer with planes flying all day overhead, dozens and dozens of passovers each beautiful day. Am thinking for my sanity I may have to move, but possibilities have become nil.

    1. Hi there, :D yes, I found some wings, I have yet to find a space to display them as magically as Anita, but I do love seeing them.
Winged Horses, Air Riders, yes we have secured one for you too as Anita would not speak of plans without you and I agree, and the Pegasus informed me that I'd be needing more of their Noble Steeds too :-)...so we have our Rides....first stop is the Moon where we are planning on lassoing that Glow Ball and bringing it closer to us to keep us lit for as long as we need.....for the Great White Fairy Ball.....
      :D:D:D
      so get ready.....
warmest hugs and sparklies to you!

  15. Oh my, how is it possible that I hadn´t seen this post before!? But finally I got here and YES, you got it my dear: your entire home certainly looks as "ethereally" white as you dreamed it, an authentic Sanctuary of Serenity... Hope that it can help to really fill your heart and soul with the Healing Love of the Lady of Light!
Love you always (and miss you a lot!!!)

    1. Hi Ka,
thank you, but its not quite the entire house so far, but I am spreading Etheriality lol to this computer/guest/craft/sewing room these days now, so except for those nightmarish termites, this would be very cozy inside....and still working on the noise of planes, but when it is quiet, it is quite nice here I have to admit. When I finish with this room, will post on that too with lots of pics just for fun.
Healing Love, yes....I do feel it is in my heart and soul already, it is most external situations which pull me out of that to deal with unsavory things as best I can, but sometimes they come all at once, you know? Lady of Light, I love that....I am spreading it despite all else, I am spreading it more and more....it is a bit of a fight but I am still in it, and my Light will be spread out further and further as long as I breathe. I sent you an email mi anam cara, please know I will be back.....soon.
      warmest hugs.

  16. Oh Lady... how beautiful... Just like you I imagine. I have always loved an all white home, I just can't seem to stick with it. It is so dreamy and soothing. I try it and before too long a colorful Afghanistan rug peeks in, then of course all the books, then the colorful lamps... it's no use, I will continue to admire it in others but not for me.
I am so happy to have returned to the land of blog. I've been gone a while, life has been very full, both good and challenging (see my blog for the full story). I am visiting all my old favorites and of course you are on the top of the list. Love your blog and home. Hope you are thriving!
    Blessings

  17. Lady in white...

Oh my...this is a sanctuary of whites like a heavenly oasis. I don't know how but your blog has not been showing up in my feed. I will try to re-list it and hopefully that will work. So I missed this serene post of yours. It reminds me of my own whitewashed sanctuary...Oh how right you are about the world needing more white...more white sanctuaries could definetly bring maybe a dew of peace. I do see that my faded rose painting has found a home in your soft surroundings. I will think of you sipping tea in this ethereal cottage of yours as I sip mine in my whitewashed sea cottage. Sending you love my friend.

    Gentle tidings,
    Kerrie

    1. Hi Kerrie,
yes that is a problem with blogger itself, those who have signed up dont' receive them when I make a post, they have to unsign then sign up again,, then they get them...this is then repeated....wish I could do something about it.

thanks for your comments, and yes the white should be more widely spread out it is truly soothing in every way.

I have found a place for your ''Sophie'' and will take a pic today and see if I can post it. It is finally quiet in the skies in other words no flying planes around and around because of the rains, and it is the only time now I can think or do much, is during quiet moments, the rest is coping really. And yes tea is greatly on my mind lately so much so that in this 'new' room which has been redone for various reasons, I am making a spot just for tea which delights me....dont' know if anyone will ever be here to use it but I will, maybe I will be a guest in my own guest room and use the service lol....
      blessings,
      lady
